PROFILE
PROFILE is a tool designed to personalize patient-specific Boolean models using omics data. Boolean models are a type of mathematical model used to represent biological systems, where each element (e.g., a gene or protein) can exist in one of two states (e.g., on or off). PROFILE can be used to tailor Boolean models to reflect the unique characteristics of a patient’s cellular biology by integrating patient-specific omics data into the Boolean model variables, enabling the creation of patient-specific intracellular models that reflect the biological characteristics of a patient’s cells.
