Young Talent

The Connection carries out different initiatives to encourage the attraction and promotion of young talent, fostering new vocations. Human capital is the greatest asset that the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) has. Science is constantly changing and therefore the CSIC employs a series of mechanisms in order to attract the most valuable research and technical personnel that allow it to be a leader in the research fields within the theme of this Connection, becoming an international benchmark. JAE Intro Scholarships

The JAE Intro programme offers scholarships at CSIC centres (own, joint or associated units) aimed at university students interested in starting a research career.

Ramón y Cajal Program

Grants aimed at promoting the incorporation of national and foreign researchers with an outstanding track record in R&D centres.

Juan de la Cierva Program

Grants aimed at promoting the hiring of young PhDs to complete their postdoctoral research training.
