Investigating host–microbiota interactions in complex diseases through systems biology, network analysis, and advanced in vitro models

We employ systems biology approaches and complex network analysis to elucidate host–microbiota interactions in chronic and multifactorial diseases, such as non-responsive celiac disease or obesity. By integrating multi-omics data with 3D organoid and organ-on-chip models, we aim to simulate the gut environment and guide the development of targeted and personalized nutritional interventions
