The consortium comprised of six research groups, from the I2SYSBIO, CNB, EEAD, IBMCC and CBGP centers, belonging to the BCB Connection, and with its support, has obtained funding for the proposal presented to the CSIC INFRA Call. 2024 , whose overall objective is to reinforce the current and future presence of the CSIC within ELIXIR and encourage the incorporation of new CSIC groups.

The specific objective of the CSIC ESFRI 2024 Call is to contribute to positioning the CSIC in large European infrastructures and international consortia and to promote participation, through support and reinforcement of the CSIC research groups in the infrastructures framed in the European Strategic Forum 1 of Research Infrastructures (European Strategic Forum for Research Infrastructures – ESFRI) and included in the ESFRI 2021 Roadmap.
