Summer training workshop that will connect developers of bioinformatics tools with the Bioinformatics Services of the CSIC institutes. The event aims to train, by developers, analysts located in different bioinformatics services of the CSIC, in the use of tools for their application in the analyzes they carry out for end users. In this way, the aim is to promote the transfer of BCB knowledge within the CSIC, train services, and generate a feedback mechanism between developers, users and services.

The consortium comprised of six research groups, from the I2SYSBIO, CNB, EEAD, IBMCC and CBGP centers, belonging to the BCB Connection, and with its support, has obtained funding for the proposal presented to the CSIC INFRA Call. 2024 , whose overall objective is to reinforce the current and future presence of the CSIC within ELIXIR and encourage the incorporation of new CSIC groups.The specific objective of the CSIC ESFRI 2024 Call is to contribute to positioning the CSIC in large European infrastructures and international consortia and to promote participation, through support and reinforcement of the CSIC research groups in the infrastructures framed in the European Strategic Forum 1 of Research Infrastructures (European Strategic Forum for Research Infrastructures – ESFRI) and included in the ESFRI 2021 Roadmap.
