Biography: Electrical Engineer (ETSEIT, 1992) and Master in Artificial Intelligence (UPC, 2002). Joined the Theoretical and Computational Ecology group (CEAB-CSIC) in 2011 as a specialist in data science and machine/deep learning. Holds a permanent position as Technologist in data science, data modeling, and machine/deep learning at CEAB-CSIC from May 2025. Strong expertise in Python, R, and C++ programming.
Has contributed to several projects in the field of movement ecology, focusing on understanding the structural complexity and generative mechanisms of animal movement. Currently leads the artificial intelligence system powering the Mosquito Alert project.
