Biography: Paulino Gómez-Puertas (León, Spain; 1965) holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His doctoral work was awarded with the UAM Doctorate Prize in 1992. He obtained the "Juan Abelló" Biochemistry Award in 1994 by the Spanish Royal Academy of Doctors. Senior Scientist at the CSIC, since 2002, he is Head of the Molecular Modeling Group at the Center for Molecular Biology "Severo Ochoa" (CBMSO, CSIC-UAM) in Madrid. Honorary Teacher at the Autonomous University of Madrid from 2003 to 2007. Associate Researcher at the Institute for Health Research of La Paz University Hospital (IdiPAZ) since 2012. Member of the CSIC networks: "Cancer Hub", "Rare Diseases" and "Computational Biology and Bioinformatics".
