LongTREC: The Long Reads European Transcriptomics Consortium. The next generation transcriptome biology revealed by single molecule sequencing technologies

This project is a Marie Curie doctoral network that gathers 12 partners from 9 countries to develop the next generation of bioinformatics tools for the analysis of long-read transcriptomic data, spanning library preparation, mapping, transcript reconstruction, quality control, quantification, allele-specific expression, genome annotation, single-cell lrRNA-seq, epitranscriptomics, and long-read multiomics. We aim to develop protocols, methods, and bioinformatics tools as well as educational materials for the scientific community. The project includes 12 doctoral students.
