Development, Wiring and Function of Cerebellar Circuits · IN
Biography
|
Having a strong molecular biology background and an MSc in Systems and Computational Biology, I obtained a PhD in Bioinformatics in 2024, applying single-cell RNA-seq and long-read sequencing to the study of alternative isoforms. My research comprised the development of computational methods to help analyse scRNA-seq data and understand single-cell biology. Since April 2024 I work as a bioinformatics postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Neurociencias de Alicante (CSIC-UMH), in the Moreno-Bravo Lab, unravelling the transcriptomic mechanisms of cerebellar circuit wiring in mice. Other interests include the role of women and LGBTI people in science, science communication, open science and software development. |
