CNB DNA Biofoundry (CNBIO) offers a comprehensive service for the design, construction, validation, and evolution of metabolic pathways and synthetic genetic circuits. CNBIO operates under the principles of the Design, Built, Test and Learn (DBTL) iterative optimization cycle. In Design, CNBIO provides metabolic modelling, analysis, and in silico designing of pathways, microorganisms, and microbial communities optimized for biotechnological applications. In Build, CNBIO offers a large repertoire of cloning services and automatic combinatorial assembly of transcription units for their expression in model and non-model organisms. In Test, CNBIO provides high-throughput screening assisted by a robotic platform and the construction of prototypes.
